Alexandra joined the lab in the summer of 2014 as an undergraduate honours biochemistry student. Her research project involved studying the effects of Dicer regulation on miRNA and RNAi pathways using C. elegans as a model system. Alexandra started grad school in our lab in Sept 2015 and is currently studying the function of proteins involved in the endogenous RNAi pathway. In addition to playing with worms, she also enjoys baking and cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
