Carine joined the Duchaine Lab as a post-doctoral fellow in the summer of 2010. She pursued an innovative research project to understand how mRNA 3’ UTR isoform variety could be responsible for modulating the response to microRNAs and, in turn, regulate stromal cell paracrine signaling in breast cancer.
Carine was supported in her efforts by a Susan G. Komen postdoctoral fellowship.
