Current position: Research Assistant
Caroline joined the Duchaine Lab as its first member in 2006! In addition to managing the lab she also works on a variety of research projects. These include studying the components of the endoRNAi pathway in C. elegans. She has been using proteomic approaches to characterize the DCR-1 dependent ERI endo-RNAi complex that we named ERIC. Recently, she started working on the response of key tumour suppressor and oncogenic genes to miRNAs in mammalian cells. When Caroline is not in the lab, she enjoys outdoor activities, especially biking, jogging, roller blading and snowboarding.
